I'm less agitated today. Day 3... still no smoking, although every gas station I pass calls my name. But the headache is subsiding, so now I just have to keep trucking through the mental bs. Still grrrrrrr, just not as ferocious today!

I'm feeling bah-humbuggy.
I found out by email last night that my paid leave from work ended April 2nd. As of now I am apparently on unpaid leave. Couldn't they have told me this last week? If I had known, I'd have been right back in the classroom first thing yesterday morning!
Sometimes academics are sucky communicators. I've got a meeting with the dean's office tomorrow afternoon. With any luck I'll have to 'eat' only one week's pay.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It gets better Ninny..each day gets better. Hang in there Girl. If I can give you one piece of advise, from someone who quit for 5 years, and slipped, badly. NEVER, EVER, think you have gone "X" long, you can have just one. It doesn't work that way.

4. Don't spam our members. Contacting a member privately without her express permission is inappropriate. (Instead, ask her permission by posting your request on the boards.) Don't email our members without their public permission. (Please understand that, by providing your email address when you register, you are giving Curve administrators and moderators permission to contact you via email.)
5. Stay with the subject at hand. It's not cool to throw an established conversation off-topic, but you can create a new topic if you like.
6. Keep it clean. Our boards are about building community. Sexually inappropriate messages will be deleted.
Folks who violate our rules may lose their posting privileges. Inappropriate posts can be removed by our moderators. We work very hard to keep the conversation going smoothly at Curvemag, but we can't be everywhere at once, so please let us know if there's a problem with a member abusing their posting privileges. Enjoy the boards!
Account Deletion Policy: Please note that we cannot delete user accounts. You can stop posting and you can edit your personal information on your account so that other users cannot contact you, but your posts, threads and username will remain on our site and in the public domain.
